Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of ICDIP management, the selected candidates will manage the development of online and blended courses, microlearning videos, and other online learning products, in collaboration with various capacity development departments. The selected candidates will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
• Create and manage project plans and budgets to ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of high-quality online products, including new online courses, adaptations of existing courses into languages other than English, new and repurposed microlearning videos, and blended courses.
• Coordinate the activities of external vendors involved in the development of online products.
• Contribute to the buildout of courses authored in Articulate 360 and hosted on the edX platform and other learning management systems.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the standards and requirements of the program.
• Develop data visualizations using PowerBI.
• Support the ongoing delivery of the online program curriculum (reruns), incorporating lessons learned and evaluation data.
• Support ongoing program needs, including communications and marketing.
The selected candidate will be part of the team delivering the IMF’s online learning program and is expected to contribute to the overall work program of the team and of the division.
Minimum qualifications:
Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree, or equivalent, in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field of study, is required.
The candidate should have:
• In-depth knowledge of processes involved in online course development and delivery, in addition to experience working with various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
• Strong project management skills and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and attention to detail; ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively; ability to work under pressure both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with subject matter experts, and to manage cross-functional teams to deliver individual projects.
Experience using edX, Cvent or other survey tools, proficiency in French or Arabic, as well as in Articulate 360 are highly desirable, as is familiarity with multimedia authoring tools and software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and other audio/video editing software.
This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent’s performance, budget availability and continuous business need.
