UNDP Digital Heritage IT Assistant (50% Part-time) 2025.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is looking for a Digital Heritage IT Assistant for a part-time position (50%) in 2025. This role is essential for supporting UNDP’s initiatives in preserving and promoting cultural heritage through digital technologies.

The Digital Heritage IT Assistant will assist in managing digital platforms, conducting technical assessments, and contributing to innovative projects that enhance accessibility to cultural resources. This opportunity allows candidates to apply their technical skills in a meaningful context while participating in global efforts to safeguard cultural heritage.

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

  • Secondary education is required. Or
  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Service Management or equivalent will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years (with secondary education) or two (2) years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in IT service provider management, contract management would be required at the national or international level.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet.

Desired Skills: 

  • Previous work experience in UNDP is an asset.
  • Experience in IT service provider management is desired. 
  • Experience in  web develoment is an asset.
  • Experience in working with multipe stakeholders is an asset. 

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in English and Greek is required.

Other:

  • Nationals or permanent residents in Cyprus are eligible.
  • Valid driver’s license is a requirement.
